Jake Tiger is a citizen of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (Bear Clan) and a prominent authority on 18th and 19th-century Seminole textiles. Serving as a Cultural Specialist for the Seminole Nation’s Historic Preservation Office, Jake bridges the gap between archival history and living tradition through his mastery of hand-stitched regalia and traditional craftsmanship. A longtime collaborator and former board member of the Seminole Nation Museum, Jake’s works has been featured in major institutions like the Gilcrease and the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. In his current role, he is instrumental in expanding the Museum’s programming, ensuring that the next generation of visitors experiences the depth and evolution of Seminole culture through authentic, artist-led engagement.
